If you run a Mac OS older than version 7.6, each time you rebuild your Desktop, the comments you may have typed in the Get Info windows of the Finder go lost, so that it is practically not worth using those comments.

With ReCommentIt, you can store those comments before rebuilding the Desktop and then restore them after that.

ReCommentIt has been tested on systems up to version 6.0. It is not usefull on current systems, since the Finder now does not loose
your comments anymore.
